Wabash Marketplace Announces August First Friday Details

Wabash, Ind. –Organized by Wabash Marketplace, First Friday encourages the community to celebrate in downtown Wabash from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, August 2. We will be celebrating the culmination of the 2014 Stellar projects with a “Stellarbration” outside City Hall. Come to enjoy a festival-like atmosphere with kids activities, free refreshments, and visuals of the Stellar projects. Wabash Marketplace facilitated the Facade Grant Program. Buildings that received facade funding will be marked with helium balloons. Look for all 22 projects throughout downtown while you enjoy First Friday.

This free event features downtown shopping, food, live music, and kids’ activities! Event details are featured on the First Friday Guide. First Friday Guides can be picked up at featured businesses, Visit Wabash County’s Welcome Center and Modoc’s Market. If you visit all of the featured businesses to receive a validation mark, you will be entered to win the First Friday Gift Basket, sponsored by First Farmers Bank & Trust.

Miami Street will be closed for the 4th Annual Thrash in the Bash Wrestling Tournament presented by Wabash Apaches Wrestling. Vendors will also be set up on Miami Streetand outside City Hall.
