WABASH COUNTY, Ind. – The Wabash County YMCA is one of 22 agencies to receive a grant from the Indiana Office of Early Childhood and Out-of-School Learning’s School-Age Child Care Project Fund.
Grants were available to school corporations and nonprofit organizations that offer care to school-age children. The grants, which total more than $1.53 million through the 2020 – 2021 school years, before or after the school day and when school is not in session.
The YMCA received $80,000 for the two years, $40,000 each year.
