Update to January Armed Robbery investigation

WABASH COUNTY, Ind. – On February 7, 2019 Deputies from the Wabash County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address on State Road 16, in reference to an altercation where a victim had been stabbed. Upon arrival deputies learned that the suspect, Joshawa Selleck, had left the area in a vehicle. Further investigation led deputies to the scene of a traffic accident where the driver of the vehicle had fled on foot. It was determined that Joshawa Selleck was the driver of the vehicle, deputies and Wabash City Police officers searched the area of the crash and located Mr. Selleck. Mr. Selleck was charged with attempted murder, robbery and auto theft. This investigation is in collaboration with the January 19th armed robbery investigation conducted by the Wabash City Police. The victim was transported to a Ft Wayne hospital and his condition is unknown. A criminal charge is merely an accusation. Every defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
