WABASH COUNTY, Ind. – On Saturday, February 24, two Wabash County students competed in the Indiana Elks State Hoop Shoot in New Castle , In., representing Wabash Elks Lodge #471. Haiden McWhirt a third grader at O.J. Neighbors made 17-25 free throws to finish in 5th place, in the boys 8-9 yr. old division. Kaden Vogel a sixth grader at Wabash Middle School made 21-25 free throws to finish in 4th place, in the 12-13 yr. old boys division.
