WABASH,Indiana – MiBash News received a press release from Wabash Police Sgt. Matt Benson about an armed robbery in Wabash which occurred on Thursday night. It reads as follows.
On June 09, 2016, at approximately 9:36 p.m. Wabash City Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at Boost Mobile located at 150 Harrison Avenue. A female clerk was the lone employee in the store at the time. It was reported that the suspect was wearing dark clothing and a black mask when he entered the store. The suspect displayed a handgun. The suspect did get an undisclosed amount of cash and the female clerk was not physically injured. The suspect exited the rear of the store which leads into the alley. Wabash Police are asking for help from citizens who might have seen someone exiting the store at the time of the robbery.
