WABASH,Indiana – On the next Wabash Talks, Jami Bartel, organizer of the 3rd-annual Senior Connections Expo, talks about the upcoming event this Thursday, April 28th at the Wabash County YMCA. The day’s events open with Elder Law Attorney Charles Backs who will answer attendee’s legal questions starting at 9 am. There are a record number of 40 vendors signed up this year – everything from health care providers to travel agents to home security and insurance companies – who will have booths set up ready to give out information about their products and services. In the previous two years, attendance at the Senior Connections Expo has numbered around 100 visitors per year, but Bartel said that she’s hoping for 200 to 300 this year.

She also said that the goal of Wabash Senior Care Marketing Group, the local marketing organization who puts the event together, is to make an impact for seniors through the event. And the Senior Connections Expo isn’t just for seniors. And with the free lunch served starting at 11:00 am and all the other events, the 3rd-annual Senior Connections Expo promises to be fun for the whole family.

While no early registration is required, Bartel asks those who intend on eating lunch to call (260) 563-7427 to reserve their lunch space. Wabash County Transit will also offer transportation to the event and attendees can call (260) 563-7536 to schedule a ride.
