GRANT COUNTY – The Grant County Sheriff’s department received a report of two juveniles, Monday night around 9 p.m., threatening to shoot up the school (Madison-Grant) on Tuesday and that they were telling some of the students not to go to school today because of it.  The school was not aware of the threats at that time, until they were contacted by the Sheriff’s Dept. The school assisted with address’s for the suspects, Sheriff Dept deputies interviewed them and obtained an admission to the threats.  They both were arrested without incident and charged with Intimidation with a deadly weapon against a school as a Level 5 Felony.  Deputies from the Sheriff’s Department were present at the school this morning through the second period, then returned throughout the day, for the peace of mind for the students, family, and staff. We have at this time no information that anyone else was involved in this incident, other than the two arrested. The Deputies are still working on the case.  If any more information comes from the investigation we will let you know.
