PERU, IN- The Peru Police Department wants to make everyone aware of the traffic flow after the fireworks presentation in Maconaquah Park on July 4th. Once the fireworks presentation is complete, certain city streets will have restrictions until almost every vehicle is out of the park. Here are the street restrictions:
Park/Broadway – all vehicles will be directed northbound.
Broadway/Spring – vehicles will not be allowed to travel southbound past Spring on Broadway.
German/Cory and Broadway – all vehicles will be directed either south onto Broadway or east onto Cory.
Broadway/Riverside Drive – vehicles will not be permitted to travel east onto Riverside from Broadway.
Canal/Broadway – all vehicles will be directed to travel east or west to prevent congestion.
