PERU, IN- The Peru Fire Department received a commendation from the White House for their cooperation with the Secret Service this past July 4th weekend. The PFD was awarded a certificate of appreciation for their efforts to support Vice President Pence’s security team on his recent trip. Thanks to Chief Hawk and everyone involved in making the security team feel so welcome in Peru
