Monday evening Peru Community Schools’ Regular session of the Board of School Trustees met at Peru Junior High School. Teachers Daniel Wyant and Christi Overdorf gave presentations about the courses they are teaching.

The board approved Abby Sutton, JAG President, and Allen Cunningham to go to Washington D.C. to the National Student Leadership Conference November 10th thru the 12th. The board approved to buy one school bus worth $85,872.00. The Chiller at Peru Junior High School is at the extended life, needs to replace the compressor and other key parts to extend the life. Funding will come from the Capital Project Fund and Trane received the bid worth $51,513.00 to work on the Chiller. 2015-2016 Graduation rate at Peru Community Schools is about 98%
