MIAMI COUNTY – Tuesday, December 27th at the Miami County Courthouse, Miami County Circuit Court Judge Tim Spahr swore in eight individuals, that won their races in November, into their new roles by conducting the Oath of Office. Those individuals that were sworn in: Mary Eckelbarger Brown to serve as County Auditor, Annette Flora Phillippo to serve as County Treasurer, Rhonda L. Trexler to serve as County Recorder, Miami County Commissioners were: Larry West and Allen Hunt, Miami County Council were: Sandy Chittum, David Sailors, and John Donaldson. The courthouse was packed with friends, families, and elected officials who watched them take the Oath of Office. The new officials thanked everyone that stood behind them during the 2016 election. The newly elected officials will begin their new roles on Sunday, January 1st.
