NBC’s ‘The Voice’ winner Girl Named Tom sells out Honeywell Center show

WABASH, IN – Girl Named Tom, the only group to win NBC’s “The Voice,” will perform to a sold-out crowd at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, August 20, at Honeywell Center’s Ford Theater. The concert, sponsored by Timbercrest Senior Living Community, brings the distinct sibling harmony of Bekah, Joshua and Caleb Liechty to the stage. Abbie Thomas joins the show as a special guest.

The Liechty trio hails from the Midwest, where they honed a sound that features crystal clear lead vocals, exquisite musicality and creative percussion. In addition to original music from their debut EP, “Another World,” Girl Named Tom will perform its chart-topping covers, including “River,” “The Chain” and “Dust in the Wind.” The trio took top honors on season 21 of “The Voice,” which aired in December 2021. “The Voice” mentor Kelly Clarkson said, about Girl Named Tom, that “they are the most special thing I have seen on this show” with show judge Ariana Grande commenting that the trio gives “ethereal, gorgeous performances.”  

Thomas, a singer/songwriter from Goshen, Indiana, joins Girl Named Tom at Ford Theater, to perform music from her EP titled, “Dirty Little Things,” which blends emotive lyrics and genre-spanning music influenced by country, pop, R&B and jazz.
