MSD of Wabash County School Board Meeting Review

The MSD of Wabash County School Board met to conduct business on Tuesday night.

Donations were approved for a total of $315.

The employment of 18 new MSDWC employees was approved. MSDWC is excited to welcome these new members to our team!

Summer School programming recently wrapped up, which served 220 elementary students through the various enrichment programs. For those students who were affected by the educational gaps created through the pandemic, these summer programs gave them the extra support they needed to stay on track heading into a new school year.

The Re-entry Plan for the 2021-2022 school year was approved, which states that MSD of Wabash County will return to pre-pandemic standard operational practices. Masks will be optional for students and staff. The goal will be to have no restrictions for students and staff when school resumes in August. The district will continue to monitor local, state, and federal guidance to determine if any revisions to this plan are needed.

School Board meetings are live-streamed through the MSD of Wabash County Facebook page and available on the MSD of Wabash County YouTube channel at a later date.

The Metropolitan School District of Wabash County along with many partners continues to Dream Big and Work Hard!  Thank you, parents, and community for sending your children to our schools!
