WABASH, Ind. – Mayor Scott Long joined the MiBash Morning Jam Thursday morning to talk about certain things going on in the city including a sinkhole. Mayor Long said about the area, “We’ve got a vault underneath the pavement at State Street and Washington Street. State Street will probably be closed this morning. We barricaded one lane yesterday. Eads and Son came in for an emergency repair this morning. Apparently we had a storm line malfunction or get a hole in it, that washed some of the bedding away so that created kind of a vault under the pavement. We’ll get that fixed and paved back in ASAP.”
