Martina McBride Returns to Honeywell Center 


WABASH, Ind. – Country music sensation Martina McBride will liven up the Honeywell Center’s Ford Theater stage with her holiday show, The Joy of Christmas, on Thurs., Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m.  Her new holiday tour will feature beautiful scenery and beloved classic Christmas music. Corporate sponsorship is provided by Parkview Wabash Hospital.

With numerous Grammy nominations, Martina McBride has sold over 18 million albums and held 20 Top 10 singles and six #1 hits. She is well-known for her soprano singing range and has been referred to as “The Celine Dion of Country Music.”

McBride developed a pop-styled crossover sound, similar to that of Shania Twain and Faith Hill, and has had a string of major hit singles on the Billboard country including “Concrete Angel,” “This One’s for the Girls,” “A Broken Wing,” and “I’m Going to Love You Through It.” 

She has won the Country Music Association’s “Female Vocalist of the Year” award four times (tied with Reba McEntire for the second-most wins) and the Academy of Country Music’s “Top Female Vocalist” award three times.
