Marion Police Respond to Battery/Stabbing

MARION, Ind. – On June 14, 2019 at approximately 12:58 am, Marion Police responded to McClure Oil, located at 2915 South Adams Street for a possible stabbing. Penny Perkins (Store Clerk) reported that a male entered the store and came up to the counter. Perkins reported that the male was bleeding badly and may have been stabbed.

Police arrived and made contact with the male. The male was identified as being Kenneth R. Miller, age 22 of Marion. It was confirmed that Miller did sustain a stab wound to the left side of his chest – a non-life threatening injury. Due to Mr. Miller’s extreme intoxication he was not able to provide information as to where and what had occurred to him. Mr. Miller was transported to Marion General Hospital for medical treatment.
