On March 13, 2020 at approximately 2:24 pm, Robert Casey, a Marion Community Schools bus
driver reported that he was traveling east bound on Kem Road between (Lincolnshire Blvd. and
Jimmy John’s Restaurant) when the second window behind him was struck by an object and
shattered. Police arrived on scene and determined that the window appeared to have been struck
by a BB.
There was one student on the bus that was transported to Marion General Hospital as a precaution.
The student was cleared and received no injuries.
