NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. — Manchester Junior High 7th grader, Alyssa Marvel, competed in the 2017 Wabash Kiwanis Spelling Bee and finished victorious in the 7th grade division. Prior to the event, she secured her place in the competition by successfully passing a preliminary spelling test. Marvel was among five competitors in the 7th grade division. Her winning word was, “communicate.” Thank you to the Wabash Kiwanis Club and Jack Thomas for organizing and sponsoring this event for the Wabash County students.
