Sarah woke up that morning around 6:45 am to get ready for work. Her husband, William told her that
she didn’t have to go to work. Sarah told William she did have to go to work then got up to use the
restroom. She then went downstairs to make pot of coffee and grab some clothing. She went back
upstairs to grab some additional clothing then went back downstairs to finish getting dressed as William and their youngest son, Kendric Sendelbach, were still in bed. She told William she would call his mother to see if she could help with the children if needed. When Sarah hung up the phone, she heard
William screaming upstairs. According to Sarah, William yelled,

”I killed ‘{WXMH had to!” Sarah ran

SARAH (screaming): He just killed Fucking Vyifih H”

Sarah’s voice is frantic and loud. She can be heard yelling for help and saying, ”My son, my son!”
Wabash County Central Dispatch (WCCD) received several 911 calls regarding two shots being fired from
male subject standing on or near the front porch at 294 E. Maple St. An additional 911 call was
received from Republic Services Waste Disposal. The caller informed WCCD they had driver at North
Allen and E. Maple St. whose truck had been shot. ISP detectives interviewed the driver, Ralph Noirot. Ralph was stopped facing west on E. Maple Street in front of Sendelbach’s residence when he heard
loud noise. At the same time his passenger side window was blown out. Ralph drove to the end of the
block and got out to look at his truck. He realized after seeing the damage someone had shot at him. Ralph was not struck by the shot and was not injured. Ralph reported the information to his dispatch who in turn called 911. The truck Ralph was driving that day could be driven and operated from either
side. Ralph told detectives if he had chosen to drive from the other side of the vehicle that morning he
would’ve been hit. Evidence located at the scene, including the location of spent shotgun shells on the
front porch (south side) of Sendelbach’s residence along with witness statements, corroborates Ralph’s statement. Utilizing this information, it is believed this was the first of four total shots fired by
Sendelbach.
The second shot is believed to be at Sendelbach’s neighbor’s unoccupied black 2018 Dodge Journey. The Dodge Journey was shot in the front passenger door with shotgun. This vehicle was parked, facing
