Kokomo Man Guilty of Home Improvement Fraud

KOKOMO, Ind. – Jeffrey L. Duncan, age 58, from Kokomo, Indiana, was convicted on June 21, 2017, in the Wabash Circuit Court following a two day jury trial. The jury found Mr. Duncan guilty of Home Improvement Fraud, a Level 5 Felony, and Theft, a Level 6 Felony. The case has been set for sentencing on July 17, 2017.

The allegations in the case were that Mr. Duncan committed home improvement fraud and theft in 2014 related to the installation of a wind generator at the residence of a rural Wabash County man. The case was investigated by Indiana State Police Detective Josh Miller.

Wabash County Prosecutor William C. Hartley, Jr. represented the State of Indiana and the Defendant was represented by Attorney Kristina Lynn of Wabash.
