MANCHESTER, Ind. – Parents and prospective kindergarten students for the 2017-2018 school year will attend Kindergarten Roundup at Manchester Elementary School on Thursday, March 9th. Participation in this evening is strongly recommended.
By state law, a child must be 5 years of age on or by August 1, 2017 in order to enroll for the 2017-2018 school year. This means the child’s birth date must be on or before August 1, 2012.
Parents must complete the Pre-Enrollment Packet prior to Kindergarten Round-Up. Simply call or visit the school and the secretary will supply the forms necessary to begin the enrollment process. If you call, the forms will be mailed to you. Parents need to bring these completed forms to Kindergarten Round-Up.

Parents also need to bring their child’s immunization records, a legal (county) birth certificate, and a social security card to Round-Up. These will be copied for school use and returned to the parents.

A-I are asked to arrive beginning at 4:30
Parents with last names beginning with the letters
J-R are asked to arrive beginning at 5:15
Parents with last names beginning with the letters
S-Z are asked to arrive beginning at 6:00
Please allow at least one hour to complete the process.
While at Kindergarten Round-Up, pre-enrollment packets will be processed. Children will board a school bus, visit the kindergarten classrooms, tour the library, undergo skill evaluations and have the option of updating immunizations.
Lead Screening will be available should parents desire to have their child screened.
