June activities planned at Babe of Wabash County, parade in July

WABASH, IN- If you are looking for some activities to do with your little ones this June, head over to the big blue house on Hill Street in Wabash. Every Thursday at Babe of Wabash County at 10:30 am, there is a free activity for children ages 0-5, though older ones are welcome too. Children under the age of six will earn a Babe coupon for participating in any of the Thursday programs, and the coupon can be spent on fun or useful items from the boutique.

Here are some of the activities planned for June:

“Block” Party on June 1 at 10:30 am
Music and Movement on June 8 at 10:30 am
Craft Time on June 15 at 10:30 am
Spanish Storytime on June 22 at 10:30 am
Roann Library Storytime on June 29 at 10:30 am

Babe of Wabash is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am to 4 pm, and the no-cost playroom is open until 3:30 pm. The space is great for moms, dads, caregivers, grandparents, or anyone with young children to meet others, build relationships, and watch the little ones learn and grow. Drop in for a tour.

This summer, families are invited to be a part of the Second Annual Fourth of July Children’s Parade on Hill Street. This parade will happen on Saturday, July 1, with the parade lineup beginning at 10 am, the parade at 10:30 am, and a Block Party with free food and activities happening afterward until 1 pm.
