Integrity Eli Pence

One vs five, a fight to live. Well actually I was just playing the video game Overwatch. This game had become my life, and I just had gotten play of the game as Mercy. One of the hardest champions to play. Thirty seconds left, everybody dead, but me. It was my time to shine.

“Heroes never die!” The game roared as I resurrected my whole team. The win was inevitable. I was so happy I slammed the Headphones down in delight. CRACK!

The right earphone ricochet off my sister’s laundry basket, hit the beige wall, and landed in my sister’s loft bed.

“Uh-Oh.” I said processing whether to hide it, or to come out clean. These were my sister’s headphones. She used them to play Minecraft with her Chasey poo, that’s what my sister called her boyfriend. I paced the room, I could hide them in the trash can, I thought. Or I could hide it behind her Tv.

I walked down stairs with the headphones in my hands. I have come up with just duct taping it. I found out just a nail broke, yet I still didn’t feel good about what I was doing. I was

shaking when I just sat down on the couch without thinking, and said,

“Mom I broke Anna’s headphones, I love you. You’re my favorite!” I admitted

The look of disappointment made me feel so melancholy. “I’ll pay for it,” I said
“Oh yes you will.” My mom said “Thank you for telling me

though, that was very good of you.”
That’s when I learned even if it will cost you an arm, or a

leg, always tell the truth. Integrity, is better than being a Deceiver.
