Indiana Historian and Author to Speak at Honeywell House

WABASH, Ind. – Noted Indiana Historian, James Madison will speak at the Honeywell House on Thurs., Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. as part of the Martha Jones Indiana Author Series. His appearance is presented by Wabash Carnegie Library, Round Table Book Club, and the Honeywell House.

The revered Indiana University professor’s first Indiana history book titled Indiana, The Indiana Way:A State History was published in 1986. After realizing years later how Indiana has changed, Madison was inspired to write his latest book, a follow-up titled Hoosiers:A New History of Indiana.

Madison is a popular professor at I.U. and has also taught at Hiroshima University in Japan and the University of Kent in Canterbury, England.
