Honeywell Arts & Entertainment continues Summer Theatre Camp performances


WABASH, IN – Honeywell Arts & Entertainment is presenting a variety of summer theatre camp offerings for students in grades K-12 to attend and perform in the month of June.

Honeywell Summer Theatre Camps provide students with 8 to 17 day experiences as they rehearse and perform a fully staged musical. All camps have the support of a team of passionate theatre, education, and artistic professionals. These summer experiences are packed full of fun, learning, and imagination.

Dear Edwina, Jr. – Camp Weekdays: June 5-23 from 1-4 p.m. at the Honeywell Center
Director – Lindsay Rice; Music Director – Judy Ward
Grades 5-8: From the writer of the Junie B. Jones musical, Dear Edwina follows the adventures of plucky
advice-giver-extraordinaire Edwina Spoonapple as she directs the neighborhood in a series of buoyant
production numbers for the latest edition of her weekly “Advice-a-Palooza.” Edwina and her friends share
wisdom on everything from trying new foods to making new friends, through clever, catchy and poignant
songs. Performance will take place on June 23 and 24 at 5:00 p.m. at the Honeywell Center.


The SpongeBob Musical – Camp Weekdays: June 5-23 from 1-4 p.m. at the Honeywell Center
Director – Jessica Keffaber; Music Directors – Stephanie See and Zach Williams
Grades 9-12: The stakes are higher than ever in this dynamic stage musical, as SpongeBob and all of
Bikini Bottom face the total annihilation of their undersea world. Chaos erupts. Lives hang in the balance.
And just when all hope seems lost, a most unexpected hero rises up and takes center stage. The power
of optimism really can save the world! Performance will take place on June 23 and 24 at 7:30 p.m. at the
Honeywell Center.
