Historic Highlights of North Manchester Tour on sale now

WABASH, IN – Visit Wabash County officials announce the release of a new trolley tour highlighting several historic sites in North Manchester, IN. Tickets for the Historic Highlights of North Manchester Trolley Tour are on sale now.  

The tour will take place on Friday, August 26, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. The program includes lunch at the Main View Inn and dessert at Chillz Ice Cream with rare tours of the Ulrey House, Sheller Hotel, and Joyfield Farm.  Tour is limited to 34 people, cost per ticket is $40 and can be purchased online at visitwabashcounty.com or in person at the Welcome Center, 221 S Miami Street, downtown Wabash.

“The town of North Manchester has incredible architecture and is deep-rooted in preservation and agri-tourism,” said Jennifer Long-Dillon, tourism manager for Visit Wabash County. “Touring these three unique locations is a rare opportunity for people and will give them the chance to ask questions about the history and restoration process.”

Spend the day in North Manchester touring, eating, and learning, while meeting the people behind the extensive renovation of three properties. Executive Director Laura Rager from the Center of History will accompany guests along the tour and will offer other notable facts about North Manchester’s rich history along the way.
