WABASH, Ind. – The Wabash City Police are making citizens aware of the funeral procession for Major General (Ret) David Lee Harris. The funeral will be on Saturday August 12, 2017. The military funeral will be leaving First United Methodist Church located at 110 N. Cass Street at approximately 2:45 p.m. The procession will be traveling West on Maple St and turning North on Falls Avenue. The services will be at Falls Cemetery. Motorists traveling through this area should expect long delays at intersections and several temporary road closures. Stitt Street at Falls Avenue will also be closed fora period of time for the military procession. During the services, citizens should expect to hear multiple blank rifle fire and blank cannon fire as part of the military services.
