Four Drug-Related Arrests Made Thursday In Marion

MARION,Indiana – The JEAN team Drug Task Force in Grant County made four drug-related arrests last week in Marion. All the arrests were made thanks to information obtained by a confidential informant who pointed police to a residence at 712 W. 7th Street in Marion. Joshua Dashawn Smith, 28, Marion, was arrested after leaving that residence around 2 am. He is facing charges of conspiracy to deal a narcotic drug after police found heroin in his vehicle. Kelly Tieshia Randolph, 29, was in Smith’s vehicle at the time was was also arrested and charged for dealing heroin.
After a search warrant was obtained for the 712 W. 7th Street residence, police found large quantities of crystal meth, heroin, marijuana and synthetic marijuana. Police also seized over $1,000 in cash. Sadly, two children were found in the home.
Two residents of the house were arrested incident to the search warrant. Timothy Ray Moore, 31, was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of methamphetamine. Moore’s fiancé, Chasity Shantee Marble, 30, was charged with maintaining a common nuisance. Another charge of child neglect is expected to be filed against Marble.
