Farmers from Miami and Wabash Counties Received River-Friendly Farmer Award

GOSHEN, Ind. — In these days of water quality concerns, there are those who are utilizing conservation practices on their farms that protect waterways and water quality in Indiana and beyond. The River-Friendly Farmer Award, hosted by the Indiana Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts, recognizes landowners and farmers in the state of Indiana for the work they do on their land to protect Indiana’s natural resources. James and Paula Snavely of Miami County and Greg Dawes of Wabash County were among the 49 who received this award.
