ANDREWS, IN- Enter the Five Gallon Bucket Challenge at Mississinewa Lake (#5misschal) and Salamonie Lake (#5salchal) and help keep these properties free of trash.
When you’re out on the properties: collect discarded items, fill a 5-gallon bucket or your pick-up truck. Take a selfie/photo with your bucket/truck of trash, post photo to the property Facebook page you’re visiting: Mississinewa Lake and/or Salamonie Lake.
When posting on Facebook, use the designated property’s hashtag for a chance to enter the year-end prize drawing. Hashtag for Mississinewa’s challenge is #5misschal and Salamonie’s challenge is #5salchal.
If you’re not on Facebook and would like to participate in the Five Gallon Bucket Challenge, contact Upper Wabash Interpretive Services at 260-468-2127 for an alternative method to enter.
When collecting trash use caution, wear gloves, and dispose of it in a proper, lawful manner.
