Elkhart Woman Arrested for attempted Trafficking at Miami Correctional Facility

BUNKER HILL, IN– On Sunday, March 24, Miami Correctional Facility (MCF) Office of Investigations and Intelligence (OII) was contacted by facility staff regarding an attempted trafficking incident during an offender visit. Anttrianna Stokes, while visiting offender Stevonta Hill DOC# 266117, was in possession of a Snickers bar containing 418 Suboxone strips. MCF Warden William Hyatte confirmed the arrest of Stokes of Elkhart. Stokes was transported to the Miami County Jail and booked in for trafficking with an inmate, a level 5 felony; dealing in a schedule I, II, or III substance, a level 3 felony; and false identity statement, a class A misdemeanor. Hill’s role in the attempted trafficking is under internal investigation.
