Downtown Wabash Trick-or-Treat Extravaganza returning to Wabash

WABASH, IN- Downtown Wabash Trick-or-Treat Extravaganza presented by Downtown Wabash, Inc. and Wabash Trucking is a free event, open to the public, with a whole ton of candy, more trick-or-treating at several small businesses, a costume contest, community vendors, family photo opportunities, local attractions and food vendors. The event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 5-7pm.

Downtown Wabash, Inc. coordinates this event with Wabash Trucking, who provides the ton of candy for “the greatest spectacle in candy” on Miami Street. Five lucky winners will receive a Gebhart Golden Ticket hidden inside a candy bar with prizes. Downtown Wabash, Inc. also coordinates a robust costume contest with Bachelor Creek Church at 6 p.m. with ten categories including birth-2 years, 3-4 years, 5-6 years, 7-8 years, 9-10 years, 11-12 years, Teen/Adult, Group/Family, Homemade and Spookiest.

Several small businesses are participating as additional trick-or-treating locations during the event including Birdie J’s, Bluebird Boutique, Downtown Nutrition, 2 W. Market St., JoJo’s Olfactory & Co., Lily’s-N-Things, Living Well Downtown, Modoc’s Market, Moose Lodge, Our House Real Estate, Pizza King, Rock City Lofts, The Access Youth Center and Thriftalicious.

Community partners will join to provide additional activities in Downtown Wabash, Indiana for a night of sweet, wholesome family fun. Expect to see activities like a bounce house, food vendors, first responder vehicles, life-size elephant sculpture, a variety of community vendors and a whole lot more. Activities will be located near Lighthouse Mission at 123 W. Canal St.

In the case of rain or inclement weather, Trick-or-Treat Extravaganza will be held on Sunday, Oct. 29 from 2-4 p.m. in Downtown Wabash. 

Downtown Wabash Trick-or-Treat Extravaganza is presented by Downtown Wabash, Inc. and Wabash Trucking. Additional sponsorship comes from Bachelor Creek Church.
