MARION,Indiana – Over the past few weeks, the Marion Police Department has been investigation nearly 30 fraud cases reported by Marion residents. So police are asking for residents to look carefully at their bank or credit card statements for unauthorized transactions.

Victims have apparently told police that their information is being used outside Grant County. Marion Police say that they are not sure if the cards are being skimmed or cloned. It also seems that some of the unauthorized transactions will be from Walmart or Meijer. Potential victims in Grant County can call the Marion Police Department at (765) 662-9981 or go to the station at 301 S. Branson Street so that an officer can document the fraud.
