This from ink free news: CLAYPOOL, IN — A Claypool teenager was arrested after allegedly stealing a motorcycle.

Parker Dean Goble, 18, 6425 S. 100W, Claypool, is charged with theft of a vehicle, a level 6 felony.

On May 30, a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputy took a report about a motorcycle being stolen from a residence sometime between May 26 and 27. A report was then filed with the Wabash County Sheriff’s Department.

According to court documents, the motorcycle’s owner said he was contacted on May 30 by someone who saw his motorcycle in Claypool. The owner drove by the location he was provided with and confirmed the motorcycle was his.

That same day, the KCSO deputy and a Claypool Police officer went to the location to speak with Goble about the motorcycle. Goble told officers he purchased the motorcycle from someone in Peru, but could not produce a bill of sale, loan contract or title. The serial number of the motorcycle at Goble’s residence matched the one that was reported stolen to the Wabash County Sheriff’s Department.

On May 31, one of Goble’s relatives said she saw the motorcycle sitting in the bed of Goble’s pickup truck. Goble told her he had purchased the motorcycle from someone in Indianapolis.

On June 3, Goble told officers that he and another individual drove to a residence and stole a motorcycle. Goble said their goal was to sell it and use the money to pay the impound fees for a friend’s vehicle.
