Brandon Michael Brown, 18, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017, at his home. Brandon was born on March 26, 1999, to Eric and Crystal (Brummett) Brown.

Brandon was a very charming young man who lived life to the fullest. He was fearless and would always try new things and he was excellent at everything he tried. He loved riding mopeds and ATV’s, sitting outside, listening to music, and drawing. He was a very good artist and could create amazing works of art. He loved hanging out with his friends and family and he shared a special bond with his mother, Crystal. He was a momma’s boy and knew that no matter what happened, he could always count on mom. He enjoyed wrestling with his brothers. He loved family gatherings and always looked forward to Grandma Debbie’s family dinners. He will be missed more than he could ever imagine by everyone who loved him.

Brandon is survived by his parents, Eric and Crystal Brown, Upland; three brothers, Trenton (Shianne) Brown, Fort Riley, KS, Austin (Hailey) Brown, Anderson, and Daniel Brown, Upland; niece, Scarlett Brown, Fort Riley, KS; nephew, Titus Brown, Anderson; grandparents, John and Debbie Thurman, Upland, Benny Brummett, East Bernstadt, KY, and Bob and Ann Brown, Portland; great-grandfather, Robert Brown, Portland; Aunt Melissa and Uncle Greg Stupples, Marion; Uncle Brad (Carey Byrd) Thurman, Jonesboro; great-aunts Linda Laughlin, Joplin, MO and Sue Lechien; great-aunt and uncle Karen and Sonny Franks; cousins, Brooklyn and Emmett Stupples, Marion, and Jenna Thurman, Sheridan; and best friends, Colton Voland, Devin Hall, Mitchell Hodupp, Toby Roberts, and Emry Hoening.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mamaw, Vicki Brummett; great-grandparents, Roscoe and Geraldine Houck, Bill and Lorraine White, Fred and Elizabeth Brummett, Jesse Kidd, and Margaret Brown; and great-uncle, Larry Laughlin.

Arrangments for Brandon have been entrusted to Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services Jones-Smith Chapel, 259 N. Main St., Upland, Indiana 46989, where a visitation will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. A funeral service celebrating Brandon’s life will follow the visitation at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mark Sanders officiating. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory in Marion.
