WABASH – On January 19, 2019, at approximately 11:21 a.m. Wabash Police responded to the 500 block of East Hill Street for a report of an armed robbery. Wabash Police report that a male entered a home with a knife and demanded their money. Wabash Police advise that the suspect did obtain an undisclosed amount of money.
Over the past month this case was investigated in conjunction with the Wabash County Sheriff’s Department. It was determined that alleged suspect in the armed robbery in Wabash was also a person of interest in a Wabash County Sheriff’s Department case. On February 13, 2019, Joshawa S. Selleck, 33, Wabash, was charged with Armed Robbery, Criminal Confinement, and Theft. Selleck also has additional charges which have been forwarded to the Wabash County Prosecutor’s Office from the Wabash County Sheriff’s Department investigation. Selleck is currently being held in Wabash County Jail.
The armed robbery case was initially investigated by Patrolman Phil Mickelson and the investigation was forwarded to Detective John Krhin who finished the investigation.
