WABASH COUNTY, IN- Wabash County Festivals Scholarship Pageant is looking for young women ages 17 to 21 to participate in the 33rd annual Scholarship Pageant, scheduled for Friday, July 28, at the Ford Theater. Contestants will participate in Interviews, Sportswear and Formal Wear competitions. Contestants will also be participating in a Queen Pizza Party and fundraisers.
The Goal of the Pageant is to help young women learn interview skills and develop poise and confidence as they grow as individuals.
Over $4,000 in scholarship monies will be awarded this year. The pageant has awarded over $110,000 in the past 33 years.
During her reign, the Queen and Court will participate in First Fridays, Parades and local Festivals. The Queen will also participate in the Indiana State Festivals Pageant scheduled for Saturday, November 11, in Greenfield, Indiana.
Members of the Directors Queen Team, along with Jones and Vanderpool are Makayla Ridgeway, Teresa Ridgeway and Patty Meagher.
