NORTH MANCHESTER, Indiana – Via a North Manchester public safety news press release, the North Manchester Police Department has received complaints from people getting a scam call from someone claiming to be from the IRS or U.S. Treasury Department. People are urged not to answer these calls. If they do, hang up and give no personal information. The IRS does not call asking for money and neither does the U.S. Treasury.
