WABASH, Ind. – The Honeywell House welcomes the “A440 String Quartet” for a return performance on Tues., May 23 at 7 p.m. The ensemble is based in Fort Wayne and features Kristin Westover and Pablo Vasques on violin, Debra Graham on Viola, and Deborah Nitka Hicks on cello. Each member is bringing one of their favorite pieces to share as they explore the wonderful world of the string quartet literature.

As full-time professional musicians, A440 Strings have decades of experience performing with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic and other orchestras throughout the country. Together, they have performed for countless events throughout northeast Indiana.

For those of you wondering how the quartet got its name, A440 is based on the frequency “A440 Hz”, which is the musical note “A” above middle “C” and serves as a general tuning standard for musical pitch.

The A440 performance is free and open to the public. However, space is limited, so make your reservation now by calling (260)563-2326 ext. 1.
