21st Annual Wabash Garden Fest set to return Saturday, August 18th

WABASH, Ind. – The Wabash Garden Festival committee is making plans for the 21st annual event on Saturday, August 18th from 9am to 3pm.  This year the event will once again be held at Paradise Spring Historical Park, and is sponsored by Metal Source Recycling, LLC.

The public is invited to shop at over 40 vendor booths with herbs, flowers, plants, recycled magic, crafts, landscaping, art, jewelry, and garden decor. There will also be many local specialty food booths.
Here is Diane Morris:

“Fabulous vendors, great food, kids tent, there’s so much going on that weekend you just won’t believe it. So come on down to Paradise Springs August 18th!”

Another returning event is the Chair Affair, sponsored exclusively by Guenin Law, a charity event raising funds for 85 Hope and T.A.D.A. (Teens Against Dating Abuse) in Association with Hands of Hope. This booth will be filled with chairs that have been decorated, refurbished, recycled, and repurposed. Don’t miss seeing some fantastic ideas and uses for chair.
Starting at 9:30am, Garden Fest will be offering free programs for all visitors. The first is a Berry Grape Talk with Jason McClure from McClure Orchard. At 11am, Jen Rankin with the Wabash County Solid Waste Management District will show visitors how to make the most of their space by using a pallet for an Herb Garden, and at 12:30, make your own Wine Bottle Bird Feeders with Jen Rankin.
Kids Programs will also return in the Wee Garden Kids Tent where children can enjoy many different activities including Dumpster Diving Scavenger Hunt, Face Painting, and the chance to win prizes and make arts and crafts to take home.
