Roger Glen Hannah, 76, of Marion, passed away at 5:17 pm on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on Tuesday, November 2, 1948, to Glen and Lois (Garner) Hannah. He married Grace M. (Borders) Hannah who preceded him.
He worked in maintenance at Prince Hall Apartments and enjoyed gambling, especially the trips to Anderson with Grace to play the slot machines. He was a fan of country music and had a remarkable sense of humor. He was known for his jokes as he continued to share them with the hospital staff until his final days. He attended Lighthouse Baptist Church and cherished the special bond he shared with Pastor Hon.
Roger is survived by his sisters, Vicki L. (Jerry) Havens of Marion, Debbie Hannah of Elkhart; sons, Tommy Hannah of Henderson, TN, Brian (Melody) Hannah of Henderson, TN; grandchildren, Austin, K-dog, and Brenley; great-grandson, Braxton; and niece, Heather Schooley of Elkhart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Lois Hannah; and Grace M. (Borders) Hannah.
At the family’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
