Patricia M. Patton, 82, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 4:25 am, Monday, April 28, 2025, at Wellbrooke of Wabash. She was born on April 10, 1943, in Peru, Indiana, to Cecil Patrick and Mary Virginia (Daly) Raymer.
Patty grew up in St. Charles Catholic Church in Peru. She married Jack Patton in Wabash on December 6, 1983. She worked in home health care and enjoyed doing ceramics. Patty never knew a stranger, and loved raising everyone’s children along with her own.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Patton of Wabash; children, Bridget (John) Harner of Silver Lake, Indiana, John (Jeannie) Proctor of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Beth Ann (Jamie) Beckham of Zephyrhills, Florida, Erin Thomas, James Proctor, Kodi Patton, and Troy Dietrich, all of Wabash; 20 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and her brother, Tim (Rosie) Raymer of Flora, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Helena Eleanor Cress; son, Patrick William Proctor; great grandson, Brennan Charles Bartley; son-in-law, Jack Thomas; brother, Jim Raymer; and her sister-in-law, Yolanda Raymer.
There will be a Celebration of Patty’s life from 5-7 pm Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash.
