Larry S. Stearns, 77, of Gas City, passed away at 11:25 am on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Wesleyan Health Care & Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Michigan, on Friday, July 11, 1947.
Larry served in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he operated his own woodshop where he did a variety of woodworking projects for people. He was a former member of the Eagles.
Larry is survived by his companion, Carol Cook of Gas City; nephew, Robert Lee Asbaugh of Gobles, MI; sister, Irene (Daniel) Morris of Gobles, MI.; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Lillian (Kussy) Stearns; and biological mother, Laura Gene Frazier.
At Larry's request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
Arrangements are entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
