Justin Johnson Exhibit on display at Honeywell Center

WABASH, IN – Honeywell Arts & Entertainment will host an exhibit by artist Justin Johnson from
May 2 through June 1 at the Clark Gallery in the Honeywell Center. Johnson will be on-site on
Wednesday, May 21, at the Honeywell Center for an artist lecture at 5:30 p.m., followed by a public
reception at 6:15 p.m. Reception reservations are recommended and can be made by calling
260.563.1102 or visiting honeywellarts.org.

The exhibit’s artistic inspiration, titled “Elegies of Unrest,” is shaped by a concern for human suffering
and the loss of cultural heritage. Justin’s abstract works are inspired by news imagery and serve as
visual lamentations that invite reflection and understanding.

Johnson is currently the University of Saint Francis’s gallery director. He has a BA in Fine/Commercial
Art and an MA in Studio Art/Drawing from the University of Saint Francis. He exhibits his work
regionally and has also presented his work at various galleries, such as Artlink Contemporary Gallery
(AVA Award Winner, Midwest Regional Award Winner). Justin currently resides in Fort Wayne, Ind.

The Clark Gallery is named through a generous donation from the Clark Family and supported by the
Kim Clark Family Endowment Fund, as well as gifts from individual and corporate contributors.

The Clark Gallery hosts exhibits by students, amateurs, and professional artists. Visual art experiences
are an important part of the Honeywell Arts & Entertainment mission of providing arts, education, and
entertainment for all. Clark Gallery exhibits are made possible in part by Borders and Beyond Gallery &
Framing, Bowen Health, City of Wabash, Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Intrasect, Oswalt
Thomas Sales & Service, Schlemmer Brothers Metalworks, and Wabash Woollen Works, LLC. To
