Honeywell Arts & Entertainment announces new features to the Summer Plaza Music Series


Wabash, IN – Honeywell Arts & Entertainment and 105.9 The Bash will welcome new features to the 2024 Summer Plaza Music Series. The free event presents musical performances on the Honeywell Center’s outdoor Carpenter Plaza every Thursday in June. The annual series has been transformed to include new offerings like local food trucks, craft activities for kids, a beer garden, and a large tent to provide shade for most of the plaza.
The series is sponsored by Bowen Health Clinic; Clear Water Systems; Edward Jones, Wabash Advisors - Amy Sullivan, Wayne Denger, Troy Baer, and Tyler Olson; Lundquist Appraisals & Real Estate; Schlemmer Brothers Metalworks; and Wellbrooke of Wabash.
The music schedule includes:
The Moon Cats – Thurs., June 6 from 5:30-7:30 p.m., 50s and 60s music

OK Boomer Band – Thurs., June 13 from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Classic Rock

Karen Wehr & Friends – Thursday, June 20 from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Country and Pop

Swampwater Stompers – Thurs., June 27 from 5:30-7:00 p.m., Jazz

Mississinewa Valley Band – Thurs., June 27 at 7:00 p.m. in the Ford Theater, Patriotic Pops
Local food trucks are the newest Summer Plaza Music Series addition this year. Nick’s Dog Cart, White Rock Recreation, and For Goodness Shakes will line Market St. in front of the Honeywell Center at each Plaza concert.

Honeywell Arts For All will provide a different craft activity for kids each week. This offering is sponsored by Bowen Health Clinic.
