GRANT COUNTY, IN- On Monday, April 28, 2025, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a request for assistance from the Wabash County Sheriff’s Office in the search for a missing adult male who had last been seen on Friday, April 25, 2025, at his residence in rural Wabash County.
Captain Matt Sneed, along with Reserve Deputy Jennifer Ressett and her certified bloodhound K-9 partner Ellie Mae, responded to the scene to assist. Upon arrival, the team obtained a scent article from the missing individual’s family and began a focused area search.
A short time later, the Grant County team located the missing individual, deceased, in an agricultural area.
Due to the ongoing investigation being conducted by the Wabash County Sheriff’s Office, no further details will be released at this time. Any inquiries regarding the investigation should be directed to the Wabash County Sheriff’s Office.
