WABASH COUNTY, IN- Visit Wabash County officials announce the 16th Annual Wabash County Dam to Dam Ride (D2D) will take place on Sunday, September 7 with a few exciting new twists.
Along with flipping all of the routes, additional rides will be available Friday, September 5, and Saturday, September 6. Registration is open now for summer pricing.
The route-direction riders have followed over the previous 15 years has changed for the 2025 ride. The Dam to Dam Committee has ‘flipped’ the event, reversing the flow of each of the route lengths in an effort to give the beloved event a makeover. In addition to the route changes, the event has additional ride options that can be added on to the traditional Sunday ride.
A Friday night sunset progressive dinner ride and a Saturday morning pancake breakfast ride are now available to participants who register for the Dam to Dam event on Sunday. The routes and rides aren’t the only thing new this year; Tim’s Thai 2 Go has
signed on as the exclusive lunch provider.
Serving hot and fresh chicken fried rice and vegetable fried rice at the start/finish line at the Wabash County YMCA. Tim’s Thai 2 Go is known for bold flavors and friendly service, and is sure to satisfy riders looking to refuel with something delicious and
energizing.

Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist chasing the full century or a first-time rider looking for a fun challenge, D2D has something for everyone. With fully supported routes, scenic views, and a festive atmosphere, it’s more than a ride—it’s a Wabash tradition. Over the past 15 years, the event has grown from 9 riders to nearly 1,000, drawing participants from 24 different states. This year, the route will be flipped so you can enjoy a brand-new view for the ride.
The event is geared toward cyclists of al riding levels and ages and gives participants the choice between riding 15 miles, 40 miles, 60 miles, 75 miles, and 100 miles. In addition, this year will have a 15-mile family ride at 10 AM, and thanks to our amazing sponsors, youth ride for free! D2D is organized by Visit Wabash County staff with the help of a dedicated group of committee volunteers. David Mann, Greg Garner, Adam Stakeman, Don “Pete” Peterson, Chris Wetherford, Shely Baucco, Mike Paul, and Roger Peebles work tirelessly to ensure that the event is a success year after year.

Volunteers can be found throughout the county running 6 supply and gear (SAG) stops that are catered specifically to anticipate the various needs of each cyclist. Along with Wabash County EMA, Wabash City Street Department, Wabash City Parks Department, Wabash City Police Department, North Manchester Park’s Department, Town Manager Adam Penrod, Wabash County Sheriff’s Department, Wabash County Highway Department, Wabash County YMCA, and Mayor Scott Long, collectively work together to ensure the overall safety of the event.
