City of Wabash Street Department announces 2025 Spring clean-up dates

WABASH, IN- The City of Wabash Street Department has announced the 2025 Spring clean-up dates. Clean-up begins Monday, April 28, 2025, and ends Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 1pm. This service is for City of Wabash residents only.

• All items should be curbside by 6am on the day of your weekly trash route.
• Piles are to be no larger than a 4×8 pile.
• A dumpster will be available at the Street Department located at 1360 Manchester Ave for residents not wanting to place items on curbside. Hours are 10am – 6pm M-F and 8am – 1pm Saturday.
• Proof of City residence will be required.
• List of items NOT accepted at curbside by the Street Department:
Batteries, cardboard boxes, paint, petroleum products, chemicals, televisions, computers, and other electronic devices, tires, appliances with freon, loose shingles, drywall, and plaster.

All items listed above except loose shingle, drywall, and plaster should be dropped
off at the Wabash County Solid Waste Management District without a fee. The
district DOES NOT accept trash.

The Street Department will try to stay on schedule, due to weather or heavy
volume they may run behind. If this happens, please be patient and your items will
be picked up as soon as possible.
