PERU, IN- The City of Peru Mayor’s Office announces the first free kids movie night in the park on Saturday, June 15th. Since this is the same weekend as Father's Day they will be holding a giveaway for one amazing father in Miami County. Arnie's Ace Hardware has generously donated a charcoal grill valued at $1,500.00 to be given away.
How to enter that special father:
1. Send a short letter telling us why your father should be nominated (it's ok for moms to help write this letter).
2. We ask that the nominee reside in Miami County.
3. Must receive nomination no later than 4:00pm, Monday June 10th to allow us time to go through all nominations. Any nominations after this date will not be considered. (To ensure fairness, a third party will present the nominations to the selection panel in a way that the names are not known to the selection panel.)
4. We must have a name, address and phone number for the nominee.
5. Winner will have a photo taken and posted on social media.
6. All entries can be emailed to mayorsadmin@cityofperu.org or dropped off at City Hall, 35 S Broadway, 2nd floor Mayor's office.
7. Winner will be announced before the showing of the movie, Disney-Pixar's Elemental, on June 15th at Maconaquah Park FFBT Amphitheater.
