Cecile A. Coffelt, 91, Marion, passed away at 4:42 am on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Cedar Creek of Marion. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Saturday, December 31, 1932, to Virgil and Elizabeth (Moore) Murphy.
Cecile graduated from Marion High School and worked in Production at RCA for 18 years, as well as at Kroger Grocery for 21 years. She was a member of Grace Community Church.
Cecile lived out the Great Commission in Matthew 28 by spreading the gospel and salvation message to everyone she could. She sent out scripture every day to many people as an encouragement and a blessing. She also sent secret birthday cards for the residents when she lived at Cedar Creek.
Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia (Rusty) Yates; son, Kerry (Jeannine) Kidwell; grandchildren, Tricia (Aaron) Jones, Stacy (Scott) Wilson, Shana (Chris) Pizzuto, Michelle Chappetta, Kelly Coffelt, Chris Coffelt, and Matt Coffelt; great-grandchildren, Alexis Wilson, Ashton (Meggan) Wilson, Alex (Emma) Wilson, Brody Jones, Dakota Pizzuto, Chris Pizzuto, Jr., and Cason Chappetta; great-great-grandchildren, Brennon Wilson, Ayedynn Wilson, and Callum Wilson; and sister, Patricia Jo O'Connell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Virgil Murphy, Jr., Henry Cramer, and Herman Cramer; and sons, David Kidwell, Robert Coffelt, and Donald (Janet) Coffelt, Jr.
The family will receive visitors from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Cecile's life will begin at 11:00 am with Rev. Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
